Something to think about tonight, in bed, alone. A Swedish study has found that users of early mobile phones face an 80 percent greater chance of developing brain tumors than those who did not use them. Granted, the phones in question ran on something called the Analog Nordic Mobile Telephone standard, popular in northern Europe, Russia and the Baltics. But the system is still in place in 40 countries. So let’s hope on that trip to Norway last summer you didn’t borrow your pal’s handset for a quick call to mom. By the way, is that your head pounding, or mine?

Force is to note that it reaches for the moment a consensus on harmlessness from the mobile telephones. The studies are still very few and none truly succeeded in highlighting a relation of cause and effect which moderate is not even cancelled by “counter-evaluationsâ€.
The two principal consequences identified on our organization in the use of a portable telephone are:
- increase in the temperature (approximately 1°C) of the cortex, very significant part of our brain
- emissions by the antenna of waves ultracourtes of very high frequencies partly absorptive by our head.
Even let us note that the Institute of Public health, Epidemiology and Development (University Victor Segalen Bordeaux 2) listed studies which tend to show that “the exposure to the ultra high frequencies emitted by the mobile telephones would facilitate the attention and would be responsible for a reduction in the reaction time to the tests and consequently for an increase in the speed.†Could the portable telephone it then be advised by the teachers with their pupils?
Jokes with share, we miss reliable conclusions still cruelly and these relatively recent technologies still raise many questions, uncertainties and fear.
In the doubt, made like me, you of the portable telephone pass; -)
