Sometimes its easier to smash what exists and start from scratch than to try to fix every socio-economical problem. So, to heck with it, instead of saving the Earth, lets just make spindizzies and move on already..
PS..sorry if this isn't exactly a science based blog..I'm just in a foul mood and feel like venting.

Easy problems are not big problems.
The mental work of species level transformation is just beginninng with net connectivity making communication one-on-one and global, rather than mediated by TV and radio hubs.
Are we in thsi together?
To whom will the absurdity of midieval battle lines become apparent next?
To whom will the promise of cooperation become obvious next?
The next bird flu vaccine will be discovered by an unpredicted person in an unpredicted lab.
This is interdependence. The money system must be altered next to support unbiased learning for all to maximize survival of unpredicted twists in the fabric of time on which we all depend.
