Look, I don't want to sound like a hardass, but have you gone to a psychiatrist? Your symptoms are so common as to be almost be banal. I'm sure it's scary as heck, but if your kidneys were out of whack, you'd see a urologist. Why? Because they see people with whack kidneys day in and day out.

If one part of your brain -- say, the part that processes voices -- is misfiring -- um, well, go see a freaking doctor. You're not the first person in the world with this condition. And not to make you feel unspecial, but there's a lot of good ways to treat this. If you want to make it the ongoing drama in your life, the thing that sets you apart from others, well, do nothing and post sad comments on sites like this.

If you want to clear it up, go see a shrink.
