I started hearing voices when I was around 17 just after I moved into my new house. I used to smoke lots of weed, dunno if that caused it. But one time i was really stoned and i went and lied down and i heard my brother talking to me in my head and he said he loved me and that everything would be alright. That was the first voice i ever heard. Another time I was sitting in my yard smokin a lot again and it was night , and i heard a voice in my head that told me it was jesus. I remember being surprised. I don't think the voices are a part of your mind, i think they are really spirits, whether they are who they say they are is another question.
