About us
Science Blog was started in August 2002. It lives, breathes and eats press releases from research organizations around the globe. Most of what you read here are press releases from the outfits named in the stories themselves. Got a news story you think belongs here?
Let's talk.
The other half of the equation is
blog posts from readers like you. So if you have an interest in science,

I heard my first voice when I was 6 years old at the beach. I was lost for two hours and in that time I replied to this voice which called himself Ocean. He talked to me and told me how to get back to my parents. As the years went by, this voice became irritable, almost cruel. He told me to kill people, to shoot myself if I didn't. Luckily when the voice changed at the age of around 9, I gained a new one. I have came to know her as Host. Her voice is soft, and higher pitched then Ocean's. She has always been the most talkative of my voices, telling me to keep my moral values and self esteem. The third calls himself Don, and he appeared when I was 12. Don is mostly silent, but when he does talk, his words are profound. He is the only one that sometimes says what he is telling me out loud. Don usually appears after I have read something or done another such intellectual activity. The latest voice gave himself the title of Tyler, but I call him Lost. Lost is constantly irritating me. His personality is the most difficult to describe, so I won't do so. Ocean by far is the most manipulative, but luckily Host controls him.
