About us
Science Blog was started in August 2002. It lives, breathes and eats press releases from research organizations around the globe. Most of what you read here are press releases from the outfits named in the stories themselves. Got a news story you think belongs here?
Let's talk.
The other half of the equation is
blog posts from readers like you. So if you have an interest in science,
please register and join others like you in an ongoing, vibrant dialog about what makes the world tick. Meantime, please take a minute to read our

"Think about it this way, you're a career woman."
No, I am NOT a "career woman". I work in a boring, dead end job because I have to. Everyone that I know, married or single works. I really don't know any stay at home moms.
I agree with what you and some of the other posters are saying about dating. I got to the point where I was so tired of being disappointed and I didn't want to go and hang out in a bar that I started just focusing on my own inner core.
I really don't like the concept of dating. I feel it's much more fun to get a group of people together for a picnic or a trip to an amusement park.
Oh, and by the way, I totally agree that there's way, way more to life than just an animalistic focus on sex and procreation. I just wish I could find more people who think like this in real life.
p.s. That doesn't mean I don't think that sex is nice, it's just that I think it should actually mean something.
