sex-changing chemicals

Submitted by Anonymous on Sun, 2008-02-17 07:45.

Problem can be simply & cheaply resolved. Estrogen (& estrogen mimicking chemicals) can be removed from wastewater streams by use of properly designed phytoremediation (reedbeds) as tertiary treatment prior to discharge. Other more critical problems, such as multi drug resistant bacteria, also safely controlled by this method - cheap too.
