ill-equipped

The military is totally ill-equipped to deal with mental health issues. They can't hire counselors, psychiatrists, psychologists, etc., fast enough to deal with the problem. Friend of mine returned from Iraq, found out his fiance was 'seeing' another man and she never said a word to him. His father died shortly after he came back and the two events, I'm convinced, along with the trauma from combat, pushed him over the edge. Back only three months, he blew his brains out.
