Faults?

I guess as a psychologist I don't really think of self-interest as a fault, per se. People need to look after old #1 at least some of the time. But it's problematic for some activities.

Just curious: what would progress look like in religion?

It's interesting to note that I attended a meeting today in which it was taken for granted by those speaking that religion has no use. In fact, it was given as an example of something people spend a lot of time on but which has social but not survival value. "Just like fashion," I think the line was.
