I was diagnosed with MS ten months ago and was told nothing about Low Dose Naltrexone by either of the two neurologists I was seeing at the time, even though one of them has since stated that he knows about the drug. Neurologists seem reluctant to prescribe LDN even though they know it can stop MS progressing for many people. The absence of clinical trials to test the effi efficacy of the drug, means that hundreds of thousands of MS sufferers worldwide are missing out on an opportunity to provide them with a better quality of life and possibly prevent their disease from progressing.
