Hi,
congrats to scientists at the University of Michigan for discovery of PAP248-286 working and effects.Thank you for listing the JournaIs .As its very hard to find the symptoms of HIV . I think it is the most dangerous diseases today.I wish them all the best for finding deep details of PAP248-286 and SEVI.

Hi,
I would love to appreciate all who are engaged in such a great job. As number of druggers is going on increase .This is very helpful post to understand important things regarding why people fall back into cocaine abuse even after treatment.Thank you very much for making aware.

we all know that you people are only capable of giving your shit taughts and are very much incapable of taking good taughts from subcontinent like INDIA......
Afterall, you people are suffering only because of your ignorence........Hope you people will also come out of your shit and see this beautiful universe..............
Real fools of this universe are just like you..........................
Dear Friends
I am an Indian........ We have a very ancient culture and philosophical taughts, no doubt about it.........But why we are fighting too much within ourselves to express our individual greatness.......Even with a variety of cultures, but one great nation "OUR INDIA", most of us are not ready to accept ourselves as INDIANS before whatever we are within INDIAN provinces.........It's very sad that most of us are not true patriots......We should be thankful to LORD for giving us an opporunity to have this human body which is like a boat to cross this vast ocean of darkness(ignorence)............
Be INDIANS forever my dear friends........
I LOVE MY INDIA.........................I LOVE THIS WHOLE UNIVERSE............
No one cares about the subcontinent. Thank you, come again! Stop producing terrorists, and maybe I'll give a shit... some day.
Then again, I probably wouldn't.
I believe the author of this article meant (m^2)/s not s^2. If this is so, then this is a form of velocity per area.
Now as far as what you said, I agree that this has some math errors, but as far as I have read, this could be another legit idea of what is actually going on.
I have no such accreditation except for being a student of Structural Engineering with Minor in Mathematics at the School of mines, but from what I have seen, this is a case where the idea could be correct.
I also would say that for every theory that I have seen, most if not all, are structured so that the core of them is not based on calculation, but on principle alone.
So with that in mind, maybe your idea of saying that this is just another one of those "theories" might be jumping the gun to fast... or maybe not.

YES I WOULD LIKE TO BE A GUINEA PIG FOR THIS ALSO IM 17 AND I WAS RECENTLY DIAGNOSED WITH HSV-1 I WOULD LOVE TO HELP FIND A CURE THERE IS ALREADY A CURE FOR HIV SO WHY CANT WE HAVE OURS
Who gives two shits about what Africans spoke 100,000 years ago? Point is, IT DOESN'T EXIST NO MORE. Wake up idiots. India holds the secrets to Human Civilization both Tamil and Sanskrit. Not only the India but the whole subcontinent holds secrets. I am Tamil, and I think Tamil is the oldest language, 1 because it's a living language and still growing. Spoken by 85 Million speakers worldwide, over 20,000 years of evolution, most proof, and Tamils are the oldest people in India as shown by DNA evidence. Sanskrit on the other hand is old to, but it is not living. Sanskrit only exists in books, no one can speak it. Hindi is an infant compared to Tamil. Tamil is the mother language of all South Indian Languages, Tamils have DNA ties to Australian Aborigines (one of the oldest communities in the world). Tamils believe in a Sunken Landmass known as Kumari Kandam which was connected to South India, Africa and Australia, that's where the Tamil and Dravidians came from. Sri Lanka holds caves older then 30,000 years. No other language is as old as this and living as this. We Tamils have thousands of years of rich Tamil literature. Our Language is ancient. So, therefore I think Tamil is the oldest language in India today, and maybe one of the oldest languages in the world. Tamils are also believed to be the founders of the Indus Valley Civilization. 3rd Oldest civilization in the world. DNA evidence showed that a whole Tamil village in Tamil Nadu has inhabitants who's DNA goes over 70,000 years ago, scientists believe that's when the first Humans from Africa migrated to India. India itself has over 100 languages all old and ancient and sacred. India is a sacred country, stop putting it down, stick with facts not no extinct African Language.

American Euphoria

PREFACE
Even though most psychoactive drugs in America are illegal, there are so many drug problems in this country that experts have termed drug abuse an epidemic. Yet our knowledge of drugs and drug use and abuse is inadequate. How much is too much? What does “getting high,” mean to the drug user? Are you an addict or a label?
The purpose of writing this book is to answer questions such as these. The ideas and analysis presented here views “addiction” from a new and different perspective. It is a holistic approach to drug/alcohol use and abuse that will help to question current drug treatment and drug policy authority.
Do the current perspectives on alcohol and drug abuse need to be questioned? After spending more than twenty years as a drug abuse counselor, researcher and educator, I believe they do. It is time for reform. It’s time for a change in thinking about euphoric drugs in general. It’s time for critical thinking about drug issues.
My passion for drug studies grew out of my own experience with a variety of drugs, with the drug subculture while in college and later working in the “culture of recovery”. After having worked for the Addiction Research Foundation in Toronto, Canada, I received a scholarship to complete a specialized graduate degree (Ph.D.) in Drug Studies at the University of California at San Diego and spent years in the recovery field from doing research, drug counseling clients on Skid row as well as those in the film industry, editing the Journal of Drug Issues, lecturing at the Drug Policy Foundation in Washington D.C., and teaching courses in Drug Studies.
This book focuses on the divisions between the “recovery culture” and the “drug culture”. Simply put, members of the drug culture have an acceptance of drug use while the recovery culture has an abstinence only approach. They are exclusive subcultures with little communication or acceptance of each other… although the culture of recovery is considerably more politically powerful. When one enters treatment, one must become an active, participating member in the recovery culture or risk becoming a treatment failure. One must drop all ties and interests in the drug culture and become committed only to the culture of recovery. Recovery, from the standpoint of the “culture of recovery” must be one of “higher power” conversion.
Acknowledging that “addicts” could benefit from some of their drug experiences or part of their drug culture experience is unthinkable from the perspective of orthodox recovery. From the position of rehabilitation, all drug use is bad and any use is unacceptable. The people, places, and things that are associated with the drug culture must be disavowed. They are “triggers” to further drug use. Everything about the drug subculture is anathema from tattoos to clothing styles.
Yet over my years in the fields of drug studies and treatment, I realized that much of what treatment had to say about “addiction” and the “addicts” themselves was based on stereotypes, stigmatization, ignorance, arrogance, and outright bigotry. Perhaps this is why eight out of every ten people entering recovery go back to using drugs.
Historically there are a number of well-adjusted persons who made outstanding contributions to society, and took euphoric drugs. I have witnessed the same: people doing things that the recovery culture claimed were not possible for someone who regularly used drugs. These people would have been labeled “addicts” had they been noticed or caught. They were not “victims” of drugs; they had their use under control even though some used daily e.g. Pope Leo XIII. This history of controlled drug use led me to wonder about the differences between those whose drug use was non-problematic and those who abused.
Traditional thinking is that the difference is physiological. Addicts are different biologically. They are allergic to alcohol or another drug; they have a “genetic predisposition” to abuse; they have “addictive personalities”. The scientific evidence for each of these perspectives is in dispute. Essentially there are those who understand “addiction” to be a controllable behavior and there are those who believe addiction is a disease. Yet the “treatment” for the “disease” of addiction” focuses on “character defects” and surrender to a “Higher Power” i.e. healing by faith.
Rather, the most recent thinking is that “getting high: or “altering consciousness” is a universal biological drive arising out of the innate structure of the human brain. In other words, we are all “hard wired” to get “high”.
Viewing intoxication as a biological inevitability gives us a better understanding of how drug use differs from drug abuse. Such use is not necessarily immoral or pathological but natural. Much like sex, drug use for humans is a natural drive. Everyone has a need to alter their consciousness and they will do so even at their own peril… from sky diving to smoking “crack” cocaine. The challenge for society is to address this biologically based need to “alter consciousness” in safe, non-abusive ways that will provide people with the “peak experiences” they universally crave. Furthermore, there is a non-abusive code for “getting high” that can be learned so that people who drink or take other drugs do not end-up embarrassed , sick, dependent or dead.
To paraphrase this book: the ways in which we talk about drugs both to ourselves and to others perpetuates many of the problems with drugs. The content of what we have to say about drugs is a reflection of our puritan culture and our personal history.
The answer to our current drug abuse dilemma is to: “just say know” to drugs. This book intends to further that process. The next major civil rights issue to be addressed in America will be the decriminalization of drug use.
your are the stupid one, put down the TV remote and look at the sky. In our galaxy alone there are thousands of stars, many of which have planets orbiting them, again, many of which are very capable of supporting life, and DO! look at the moon, we've found water, in which itself is and contains life. you are truely retarded if you cant see that, the sad thing is, as retarded as you all are, you know there is a possibility of life other than earth, but you are afraid of knowing it because that means your life as you know it has to and will change. Have fun being foolish and ignorant because you will be the last to hear of it when we do find them, or they find us.....
peace out loser

Frank,
I presume you are agreeing with me.
Units-free physics does not mean dimension-free physics.
In other words, velocity has the dimensions of length divided by time regardless of the system of units we use. Is your equation G=R/(3v^2) in a system where c=1? Even so, it would not be correct to say c=c^2=c^3=... because of the dimension issue.

is the only way I could get there back in 1993 when I managed to finish waht einstein started in early retirment from Lockheed where I was senior staff scientist with the skunk works in the Burbank, CA area. Bought beautifully wooded acreage on the Canyon area just North of LA and managed to design and bnuild my own retirement home. Am now putting in Multiple RV hookup sites for 30 and 50 amp plus telephone-internet. So if the ecponomy getws bad eb\nough I can get all the retirment ready kids to come home and we can share the labot and cost of maintenance and impiovements no matter waht happens to the ecopnonomy. expext to have my own vegetable garden by sping 2010---by 2012 have waater well and solar and wind power.
Understdind and being able to visualize the electon in al,its Higgs particle glory, I was able to easily rewrite Einsteins's space curvature EQ and as he d\=fervently whished, get away from problematic math all together. G = R/3(v-squared) ---will explain to anyone interested. L Frank Morgan, Newhall, CA
I am often puzzled by the way that academics do studies about attitudes toward gender and gender roles and how they always conclude that there is a "gender hierarchy" that favors men and punishes women for not following their gender roles.
We live in a society that enforces the male gender role of provider and protector at GUNPOINT!!!!
A guy that is paying child support and loses his job, gets behind in payments and then goes to jail isn't an example of punishing the deviation from a gender role?
A guy who doesn't sign up for the selective service at the age of 18 faces five years in jail, $500,000 in fines and the loss of his citizenship status yet the fact that this doesn't apply to 18 year old women isn't an example of punishing the deviation from a gender role?
There are many other examples of how men are severely punished socially and not legally for not fulfilling their gender roles. The best example I can think of is the whole marriage thing. If a woman chooses not to marry nobody would even dream of ridiculing her. However if you are like I am, a 38 year old male who has decided until this point to avoid marriage, you are looked at as a total looser. This kind of sexism plays out especially hard in the workplace where incredibly bigoted attitudes dictate that unmarried men of a certain age are by nature irresponsible and afraid to commit to anything.
In light of this, how is my status as a male privileged? How does the "gender hierarchy" benefit me?
It just strikes me that these studies are self serving and are designed to manufacture a certain outcome-one that always paints the feminine gender as the one who is always at a disadvantage. A cloak of victimhood always serves the purpose of garnering resources, privileges and protection from accountability that one may not deserve.
I take vicodin and oxycodone for the treatment of this disease because the doctor prescribed me after a thorough examination, seek information and findrxonline logically points out that these medicines should be tightly controlled by its high content of codeine and this makes one induces these opioids.
Like so many of these so-called theories, the author starts out with a flawed understanding of physics.
In trying to judge whether this was worth investing more time, I scanned for key points. I quickly discovered that the author does not even understand the significance of dimensions and units.
For example: "Mass a- = e/c cubed, Velocity a- = c squared." and "The velocity of a- particles is c x c or around 1100 light years per second."
Error 1: The ratio of mass to energy is the square of a velocity, not the cube.
Error 2: c squared is not a velocity.
Error 3; c x c has dimensions of length squared per time squared. In the units given here, it is 1 light year squared per year squared (since c = one light year per year by definition). if you replace 1 year by 3.16 x 10^7 seconds, you get approximately 10^(-15) light years squared per second squared.
That number is meaningless as a velocity since the units are not a velocity. The number 1100 probably comes from some other set of units, and it would be different if you use yet another set of units. But in no case would it have dimensions of velocity, i.e. length per time. I wonder what number you would get if you used the perfectly legitimate velocity unit of furlongs per fortnight. I suggest trying that as an exercise for both amusement and edification.

I am a 57 year old woman ( quite beautiful actually...not an old fat hag LOL) and Have all ages of men appreciate me , but I must comment on this article. Reproducing with older men (over 50 actually) has been shown to increase birth defects, autism, schizophrenia and many other maladies in the offspring of these so called " horny old men" so it is not without its drawbacks.
Yes, these men can impregnate their much younger females.....but at what cost to society, its certainly worth thinking about!

I am Rhesus Negative and been lead to believe that my/our bloodline is evil/reptilian. I really don't feel in my gut that this is true. My partner is Rhesus Negative too, i only found this out a few days ago but when we met four years ago, it sounds crazy but it was almost like time stopped, we where in a nightclub, we could not hear sound or see people all we saw was each other and it felt like a deep connection that neither of us had ever experienced... almost telepathic. We often finish each others sentences and know what the other is going to say. It was almost like we were brought together. Most people tell us we sound crazy but we know what we felt. Also since we have been together we have become more disconnected from the everyday norm, we both believe that every aspect of our lives is controlled by Governments and big wigs. We have spoken to friends about this and they think we are borderline insane. Personally i think people that think they are free are asleep and need to wake up but the sad fact is alot of people never will. :-(
It would be great to have more natural options for exterminating pests. Especially certain ones that tend to be resistant to many of the commercially available pesticides. Bed bugs, for example, tend to be hard to kill because the majority of the chemical pesticides that are strong enough to kill them are either outright banned or simply too dangerous to use in a home environment. Even through a professional like Terminix, bed bugs can be quite unruly. If they created a biopesticide that could be used safely indoors but carries the strength of some of the chemical pesticides (even if ONLY for bed bugs), it would alleviate a lot of the problems associated with a bed bug infestation, especially the part about getting rid of them!
This hype is leading up to the next step. They are now following page seven of the tobacco control handbook instructions to ban patio smoking AFTER business owners spent thousands of dollars to build them for their smoking customers. This clearly shows that these people have ABSOLUTLY NO CONCERN for local businesses. It's the "inside-out" provision on page seven. Once these people find gullible lawmakers and get a foot in the door, there's no stopping them.
http://www.no-smoke.org/pdf/CIA_Fundamentals.pdf
Notice that there's no mention of patios in the model "smoking ban for dummies" on page eight. They didn't want that to be seen when the bans were first brought up.

Look, to all of you who are saying that marijuana is a gateway drug: It's not. That's like saying bread is a gateway drug. All drug users ate bread before they moved on to harder drugs. *gasp* Bread must be a gateway drug! No, but really, think about it like this: In a world where all recreational drugs are illegal, yes, marijuana will be a gateway drug. Why? Well, if you're buying from a dealer who just so happens to have more than just marijuana, well, one day when you're picking up a dime or some such from him, he might ask you if you want to try X drug. Now, if marijuana had been legal, and you were instead buying from say, a typical store of sorts, this situation would never have arisen. With legalization, the amount of exposure the harder drugs receive is diminished. So, legalize marijuana!
Im T.IMTHIYAS from INDIA & i have a very new & innovative approach for the methodology of meteor deflection..im sure about the threat caused by the meteor named 2004MN4 TO our world & even if we trace anyother now we have no time but just have to wait for it to collide with the earth . i was indeed facinated by the ideas posted by the various scientist about meteor deflection but no one is interested in using nukes...but mine is very simple indeed a new approach over the use of ion engine rockets for pushing the meteor from its path, but the ion engines cant provide sufficient thrust if the meteor is of enormous size. But im sure that my system accompanied by an ion thruster can perform the necessary. . . My systematic approach is that the use of 2 repelling magnetic fields...Some assumptions might explain this worthwile. . just take a magnet & fix it on a large drum. Take another in your hand and make them repel each other..a small force given by your hand to overcome the repelling force is the work done by the ion engine rockets and the remaining pushing work is done by the opposing magnetic fields. henceforth though the surface area of the obect to be pushed is large ,the repelling force experienced by the 2 small opposing fields might perform the pushing action..Hope my idea is clear but has a lot to be worked upon & i will be glad to work with NASA over anyother systems regarding meteor deflection projects as a citizen of this WORLD & share my many more crazy ideas also..if anyone reading this have alternative ideas can share them with me online at imthiyas_mech@yahoo.com .Thank you.
Recent advances in cancer therapeutics have led to the discovery of biomarkers that can predict patient response to certain drugs. Screening for mutations in the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGRF) prior to non-small cell lung cancer treatment, for example, has been shown to indentify patients who are likely to respond to treatment with erlontinib. This maximizes the drug's impact, and spares patients who are not likely to benefit from being subjected to potentially debilitating side effects.
