 Internet Security Pro sucks December 21, 2008

This is a horrible, repeat, horrible software program. You are almost better off getting a nasty virus than installing this software. This program will take over your computer, and you CANNOT get rid of it without reverting your windows to a previous state. I couldn't log out of anything on the internet once I installed this program. I couldn't check my hotmail account, adjust checkout orders or anything of the sort. This program is so invasive it should be labled as a virus itself! As usual, contact to this company for assistance was totally unresponsive. They do not care. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PROGRAM!!!
Trend Micro frustrating and disappointing December 2, 2008

After spending a total of several hours with several different support agents trying unsuccessfully to get Trend Internet Security to work on our new computer, we have given up. It is clear that their support staff is incapable of finding a resolution. br / br /In any case, we are forfeiting the $60 that we paid for the software and the even greater cost in our time as consultans. br / br /We have purchased and installed, without any problems, Norton Internet Security 2009. Our experience with Trend Micro has been frustrating and disappointing. br /

I love and have been extremely satisfied with Trend Micro products. Their customer service cannot be challenged. The security system is very user friendy; you don't have to be a techie. My wife has it on her computer, and it keeps her very safe. Highly recommend.
 First of all, despite what the product says, it DOES NOT WORK WITH VISTA! In fact, it didn't work with XP either. November 5, 2008

This product does not work with Vista or XL even though the packaging says it does. I had to call support and they had to download something to make it compatible with my pc and laptop. It was a very big hassle. I keep getting popup windows when I'm on the laptop that say that an Apple computer is trying to hook up. I'm not sure what this is all about. br / br /The good thing about it is Trend Micro found 28 viruses that Norton had not found.

I initially found out about this via a review from the Consumer Reports magazine. That helped me make my decision, and I am glad I did give it another chance, because I had tried it a few years before, and was not impressed, so had moved on to another protection program. This is my 2nd year with it since my return. They really have improved a lot from my initial use years ago. I found it both easy to load and use, and excellent protection for my 3 family computers.
