While the Visual Studio Professional 6.0 product allows for the development and distribution of powerful front-end single and multi-user applications, particularly with Visual FoxPro and Visual Basic, developers will soon discover that having their own SQL Server (a limited user version is included with the Enterprise edition) is an absolute must! NT Server is a must also, as well highly recommending NT Workstation rather than 95/98, as your development platform.
