Cholesterol, is , usually considered to be harmful for heart and the root cause of the evil called the cardiovascular diseases. But a rescent study shows it to be playing a protective role against another deadly disease, Osteoporosis. The study was conducted by Dr:Jasminka Llich & Dr:Rhonda Brownbill, and was published in Journal of Women’s Health. The study showed that serum triglycerides & total cholesterol were both positively related to either hip or total body BMD ( bone mineral density ) indicating, higher the serum lipids ,the higher the BMD and people with higher BMD are less prone towards osteoporosis. So, cholesterol actually
