Every human body is unique and so is every type of food. Every food has its own set of chemicals, and the concentration of it is different in various types of food sources. No natural food is too good or too bad. Each has its own importance in respect of what it supplies. It is only bad when you stick to a particular food item.
Wild animals, birds and other living beings are healthy, unlike humans, because they eat natural food. Only pet animals and birds and humans eat processed food and suffer from diseases. The key message is that we have gone too far from nature and hence from good health.
We have to eat a mixture if different kinds of fruits, seeds, nuts and vegetables. Our body is the best judge of what it needs and does not. So the wise way is to supply different foods and give the body a choice. It thus takes in only the required nutrients.
The five elements in the food should be supplied in natural form. They should not be contaminated or polluted. Our body is made up of chemicals and all our live processes due to the interplay of these. Good chemicals react in a good way with our body while bad ones upset the good reaction and get manifested as ailments. In spite of the toxic chemicals, body tries to restore its harmony.
We are sadistic in a way. We torture our body and enjoy pain. Drinking too cold or hot drinks is away of torturing our body. Can anyone put one’s finger into a cold and hot drink for more than 10 seconds? Though hot food reaches the tongue it gets cooled only to an extent. It passes through food pipe, reaches the stomach and spoils the digestive juices, thereby impairing digestion. People drinking too much of cold and hot things are prone to constipation and piles.
Soft drinks are the most dangerous and corrode our stomach and intestines, destroying digestive enzymes.
Food is made up of the five elements – water, earth (solid matter), the minerals, water (juices), air (the gases), fire (spices) and space. Space is an important ingredient. It is the space we leave in our stomach. We should never over eat or fill our stomach because we will deprive of body space.
Eating is yoga. The steps behind healthy eating are as follows:
Prepare a clean place to sit and eat. Do not eat in a hurry. Eat only if you are hungry. Eat not only for pressure but also to heal the body. Keep the food ready on the table or floor. Before eating, say a prayer thanking the lord for the food. Mentally thank all the life forms that contribute to the food. Feel that food is healing and think while eating it that is going to heal your disease. Don’t talk; listen to music read, watch TV or think of any thing else. Devote your full attention to the food. You are not eating to provide energy to your body, but also to maintain it. It is food that keeps your body fit. Eat with clean hands and avoid using a spoon or fork. The touch of food stimulates senses and helps digestion.
If food is eaten like this, you will never experience disease.
One who eats one complete meal a day is a healthy person.
One who eats two complete meals is a connoisseur.
One who eats three complete meals a day is a sick guy.
One who eats four complete meals a day is a mean person wasting food.
Digestive power is at its maximum in the day and decreases as night approaches. Undigested food causes health problems. It stays in the intestines and becomes food for bacteria and parasites. The toxic products these microbes release are absorbed and enter the body causing disease.
Raw foods are better quality wise; therefore you need to eat less to satisfy your nutritional needs. The heat generated during cooking depletes vitamins, damages proteins, fats, and destroys enzymes, which benefit digestion. As you increase your intake of raw foods you feel satisfied and derive energy from smaller meals because raw food has the best balance of water, nutrients and fiber to meet your body needs.
Raw foods have more flavor than cooked foods so there is no need to add salt, sugar, spices, or condiments that irritate your digestive system over stimulate other organs.
Raw foods take little preparation so you spend less time in kitchen.
Eating a diet of raw foods can reverse or stop the advance of chronic diseases, including heart diseases and cancer. It can protect us from acute diseases such as colds, flu, and measles.
Cooking destroys the nutritive value of food. Hence a diet comprising raw food and fruits is ideal because it is natural. What you do for protein? Protein is no important than any other element in our food. When people crave protein it is actually an addictive craving for cooked protein, which does not feed the body. You can get all protein you need from raw plant food. How is that a cow can grow hundreds of pounds of protein flesh from mere grass which hardly contains any protein at all? It is not protein that is necessary to develop proteins in your body, but essential amino acids, which are present in raw fruits and vegetables The mass frenzy on the subject of protein is due to an elaborate media campaign by the meat and dairy industries to push their products. The truth is no one ever suffers from a protein deficiency and certainly no one ever dies from one. But people die of protein poisoning enmasse every day. Heart attacks, strokes, cancer and such diseases are the inevitable result of overburdening the body with cooked animal proteins.
Trees help cure any disease
Waste generated by trees and plants contain chemicals that can cure diseases and ailments afflicting humans.
These chemicals, when inhaled, enter the blood stream and clean the blood and fat deposits in the blood cells, which are then excreted by the body. The chemicals maintain the body temperature at the optimum level and purify the blood.
AS YOU HAVE SAID IN YOUR BLOG THAT THE TOUCH OF FOOD STIMULATES THE SENSES. BUT HERE IS A QUESTION PERTAINING TO THE MODERN CULTURE THAT IF WE ARE TAKING FOOD IN A GROUP OF HIGH STATUS PERSONS AND WE ARE TAKING FOOD WITH THE NEAT AND CLEAN HANDS THEN WHAT WILL BE THE REACTION OF OTHER PEOPLE. ACCORDING ME PERHAPS THEY WILL REALLY SAY THIS NOISOME.
