Low lead levels ‘still harmful’ – BBC

It looks as though one of the factors behind the rise in heart disease is lead.

I’ve been looking into the effects of too much light on heart disease at photoperiodeffect.com – it’s accepted that a proper amount of sleep is very strongly protective for heart disease, diabetes and more.

Now, add lead to the list. It was in gasoline for a very long time. Thanks, industry lobbyists everywhere.

  1. Lead has been known for a long time to cause heart disease. But, as mentioned sleep is a key factor in protecting one against heart disease. These new studies should hopefully shed more light on this.
