Just returned from a trip to Yellowstone National Park<\/a>, where I tagged along with scientists as they\u00a0bushwhacked into the back country to study geothermal pools and their microbial communities.\u00a0It’s dangerous work; one of the hazards is hiking into a remote site, only to find that it’s overrun with bison.
