Soil microorganisms are a pest,<\/p>\n

Releasing petagrams of C O two<\/p>\n

As a by-product of what they digest.<\/p>\n

Whilst nitrogen deposits do accrue,<\/p>\n

More harmful greenhouse gases will ensue.<\/p>\n

But if the soil diversity is great,<\/p>\n

Small animals can then graze their way through<\/p>\n

These microorganisms at a rate<\/p>\n

That may reduce the feedback before it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n
