Let grief be her final
\nExpression of love
\nO angels, free swiftly
\nThe heart\u2019s aching tug<\/p>\n

In stoic resilience
\nShe fought to survive
\nWith proud inclination
\nOur sisters now thrive<\/p>\n

Adopted and cherished
\nTo cherish she sought
\nSo tenderly nurturing
\nAs nurturers\u2019 taught<\/p>\n

Though toughest of obstacles
\nDogged her steep path
\nShe conquered each challenge
\nAs dawn conquers dark<\/p>\n

A Goddess with backbone
\nThe fight so divine
\nFree her heart to prosper
\nFor her heart\u2019s like mine<\/p>\n
