However, until now this link has not been fully explored.

By studying a cohort of people with no previous history of diabetes over a period of 8.5 years, and measuring their exposure to air pollution, researchers in this study were able to demonstrate a link. They have estimated that air pollution was responsible for approximately 3.2 million new cases of diabetes across the globe in 2016, representing about 14 % of all new cases of diabetes that year. The researchers also found that the overall risk of pollution-related diabetes is higher in lower-income countries such as India, where they often lack the resources for the implementation of clean-air policies.

Within each breathe of air we need to live, Are carried tiny particles of dust; These specks pass through our bodies’ finest sieve, And cause

"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paywalled_content":false,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false
[1
371,370,65,2,97,3
post-640","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-science-poems","tag-air-pollution","tag-diabetes","tag-health","tag-poetry","tag-pollution","tag-science","generate-columns","tablet-grid-50","mobile-grid-100","grid-parent","grid-50","no-featured-image-padding","resize-featured-image
<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v27.7 (Yoast SEO v27.7) -
