Apollo Lunar Lander for the Lunar X Competition
We are in the process of building an Apollo Lunar Lander that will be entered into the Lunar X competition. The build will take place in the Northern Washington, D.C. area from October 4th Thru November 1st 2008. This is an effort by volunteers of all backgrounds and will run 24/7 for the 28 days. This build will be filmed for broadcast television for its importance and acheivement. This lander will be toured around the country during 2009 to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the first Moon landing. An attempt to land this replica (unmanned)on the Moon will be made in 2010 or sooner. We need more volunteers and sponsors but we are doing well. The new web site will be up shortly that will track our parts, volunteers and progress leading up to the build. Check the site for more info.

Fantastic
I will certainly make myself and the resources of Lunar Networks and Longview available for this effort, just to run the coat check closet. An outstanding idea!
