THERE IS ONE MORE WORD SYMPHYSY
To all the people who think “w” is never used as a vowel I ask: How do you pronounce “vowel”
H1N1 C2
There is a word means Origin but in sanskrit ‘SRDJN” is without a vovel and has a literal meaning in other language too.
….a, e, i, o, u, and sometimes y are vowels… Also after some research the other day i found that w can also be used as a vowel…so none of your words work..
Y can be use as a substitute for a vowel, but technically is not a vowel, so your comment would be corrected thus:
I IS A RETUUUUURHHHEED….
HURUHR DEEERRRPPPP…
Y is a vowel and a constanant. It acts as the one it needs to be.
It IS a vowel in these cases.
Every proper word has at least one vowel, otherwise it’s basically just noise.
Well in response, I feel that I should let you know that “definately” is spelled “definitely”. Good try
uh pretty sure that is not true!
uh yeah really, and Y can also be a vowel in some cases so really i bet half of those words use Y as a vowel
you’re wrong:
askoxford[dot]com/asktheexperts/faq/aboutother/lettery?view=uk
um… wow. you’re mean.
they made a mistake. lighten up.
Ummm Y only counts as a vowel at the end of the word, duhhh!!!
>Y when there is no other vowel in the word, becomes a vowel.
No, Y becomes a vowel when it acts like a vowel.
The Y in Yogurt is not a vowel. The Y in Happy is a vowel, even though there is another vowel. How many vowels there are in a word has no effect on whether Y is a vowel.
I think I’m going to quote that some day… LOL but at the same time I feel sorry for retarded people.
I’m not sure please tell me. After all, a 2nd grader would know how to use full stops to prevent a run on sentence.
Likewise some might even know how to spell foreign or that America is a name and therefore needs a capital letter. Likewise in the context used in your last sentence you should have used you’re.
Continuing on it would be does not dose and least not lease. I mean does could have been a simple typing error, but e and t aren’t that close for your least mistake.
So please, in the future before you start calling people retards, take a look in the mirror and get into your mind what a real retard looks like.
You do realize that zzz and shh and what ever else you said are not words, right? Abbreviations aren’t words, and neither are sounds. Y when there is no other vowel in the word, becomes a vowel. You people are all ether really dumb, or failed the first grade when they taught all this. You just got burned by a 13 year old.
Wow… First off let me congratulate you may be one of the most arrogant, self-righteous person ever. First off let’s talk about ghettos, insinuating that because someone has bad grammar and spelling he or she lives in a ghetto is a huge generalization, there are actually smart people who are at a disadvantage because they were born into a poor family, it is not their fault they can not afford to go to a good school. This is a perfect segway to my next point, you said “pay attention in the public school people like me fund” It is absolutely shameful that you put yourself on such a high pedestal by making people like Emma feel inferior to you just because you may have a bit more money than her (or maybe even less, seeing as how you don’t even know her I doubt that your accusation was fair). It is people like you who give the upper-middle to upper class a bad name, people who go around flaunting their riches and good fortunes to people who can barely afford to pay rent in houses. So before you finish apologizing to everyone who is reading this on behalf of Emma and her “apparent” lack of intelligence let me apologize to the readers for your arrogance and tell them that not all people who were blessed with wealth act the same way you do.
umm when there is no other vowel in a sentence, the “y” counts as a vowel, duhhh!!!
lol…when i read that i almost peed my pants…nice going (:
