The past seven years have shown what can happen if the President of the United States hears and sees only what supports his predispositions.
Science doesn’t work that way. Don’t you think it would be a good idea if someone organized a 2008 Presidential debate focused on science and Technology?
If so get involved in the push for a Sci/Tech debate in ’08.
Personally, I’d love to put Mike Huckabee (if nominated) on the spot about his avowed Creationism, and to find out what policies each candidate would each advocate for heading off or minimizing the problems we face from global warming and peak oil.
