Most people believe that university is the cradle of science and technology. A lot of new universities have names like:
“University of Science and Technology”
In China, we have a famous University of Science and Technology of China. We have also a Huazhong University of Science and Technology, a University of Science and Technology Beijing and a University of Electronic Science and Technology of China etc. In 2009, there is a new King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) appeared in Saudi Arabia . This university annouced that KAUST’s world-class faculty would work with University leadership to support the institution’s talented, international students and researchers, as well as guide the development of the University and surrounding community.
Next year in China, a planned South University of Science and Technology (SUST) will soon come out in South China big city Shenzhen. See a webpage:

This new university might bring a challenge or something new to other universities in China. The president of SUST is Prof. Zhu
