Twentieth-Century Physics History Course

I will be offering a “lifelong learning” course based on my twentieth-century physics history book, but I think the material lends itself to other courses as well.

The course at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Pittsburgh is titled “From the Clockwork Universe to the Standard Model: The Unraveling and Reweaving of Physics in the 20th Century.” It will run for five 2-hour sessions from September 8 through October 6, but it could easily be developed into an undergraduate or graduate course at a college, community college, or university.

If you are a college professor or administrator who is interested in developing such a course, please contact me through the e-mail link on my web page describing the book.
