1. Thesis:
The characteristics of our universe, its matter and energy, and its physical laws are the result Darwinian evolution.
2. Summary:
To the extent that a universe possesses characteristics that are favorable to the emergence of an intelligent life that is eventually capable of governing its universe in reproduction, that universe is more likely to proliferate, passing on its characteristics to a greater number of offspring. In this manner, successive generations of universes possess characteristics that are progressively favorable to the emergence of intelligent life, specifically, life that is eventually capable of governing the activities of its own universe to the reproductive advantage that universe.
3. The mechanism of this evolution is as follows:
Stage A: Birth
One or more universes produce a universe as offspring. The offspring universe inherits the characteristics of the parent universe(s).
Stage B: Development
Over a period of perhaps billions of years, the offspring universe develops natural, biological, intelligent life via evolution. This formation of intelligent life is a natural consequence of the offspring universe’s inherited characteristics. This biological, intelligent life then produces a greater intelligence by some (unknown) combination of several processes, such as by controlling its own evolution, by constructing and merging with computer technology, or by constructing and being replaced by computer-based intelligent life.
Stage C: Governance
The intelligent life grows in complexity until it gains the capacity to govern its own universe, specifically in the act of reproduction.
Stage D: Reproduction
Under the control of its governing intelligence, the offspring universe reproduces, passing on its characteristics to its own offspring, thereby completing the Darwinian cycle. This reproduction may take the form of fission, budding, or sexual reproduction with one or more other universes. Note that the governing intelligence need not necessarily understand or create the mechanism by which this reproduction takes place, since the universe possesses a reproductive mechanism as an inherited attribute. At the very least, the governing intelligence need only be capable of coordinating the act of reproduction.
4. The purpose of this theory:
The purpose of this theory is to explain the origin of the order that is present in our
universe, to explain why our universe possesses characteristics that have created intelligent life, and to refute any assertion that “intelligent design” is the necessary cause of the so-called “fine tuning” of our universe’s physical laws, which is presumed to enable the emergence of biological life.
5. In the past, universes reproduced without the aid of a governing intelligence.
Since this theory states that universes acquired the characteristics necessary to produce a governing intelligence as evolutionary adaptation, this theory suggests that at some point in the past, universes reproduced without the aid of a governing intelligence.
6. In the past, universes possessed a lesser degree of order and complexity.
Since this theory states that the complete characteristics of a universe (its matter, energy, physical laws, initial state, etc) evolved over many generations of universes as a means of creating conditions that would cause the evolution of a governing intelligence, this theory suggests that at some point in the past, universes possessed a lesser degree of order and complexity.
7. The specific characteristics of a given universe functionally determine a theoretical limit on the magnitude of intelligence that can exist within that universe.
Since this theory states that successive generations of universes acquired the characteristics necessary to produce a governing intelligence through an evolutionary process, this theory suggests that the specific characteristics of a given universe functionally determine a theoretical limit on the magnitude of intelligence that can exist within that universe.
8. Our universe may have merely “inherited” the characteristics of actual “universe organisms” without actually being a “universe organism”.
This theory states that our universe is an organism within an unknown ecosystem of unknown origin. However, it should be noted that our universe may have merely “inherited” the characteristics of actual “universe organisms” without actually being a “universe organism”. For example, a stray fragment of DNA may possess great internal order that is suggestive of life. However, it is not alive and has no prospect of becoming alive, and it possesses its internal order merely by virtue of its “inheriting” its characteristics from an actual organism. In this way, our universe may possess many characteristics of “universe organisms” without being a “universe organism”.

I love some of these blogs … Im new here and just ant to learn new things. This thesis, is very interesting, though I cant see how you can place a non living entity the universe itself made up of non living things (including us we are also made up of non living material, basically walking clouds of electrons haha) in the shoes of a living creature.
