Good news for people involved/interested in microRNA and cancer biology: the first open access, interactive databank on microRNA and their functions is now available at www.mmmp.org. Made by and for the scientific community, this continuously updated systematic database collects published information on this rapidly evolving field of molecular biology. I find this initiative not only highly interesting/helpful but also innovative, as visitors are not just passive readers/users but can also be active authors of new records or record updates. I wonder what people think about this new initiative of the Melanoma Molecular Map Project.
