King's College London

King’s College London is one of England’s four oldest and most prestigious university institutions: a multi-faculty research-led university college based in the heart of London. It has nearly 23,000 students (of whom more than 8,600 are graduate students) and some 5,500 employees. Research, published in BMC Medicine, suggests that antidepressants – particularly the most commonly prescribed class called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) - may have a preventative role against COVID-19 infection, and could provide a complementary approach to mass vaccination.
