it is quite remarkable how many uses
you hunams keep finding

for magnets—

your latest discovery being that

running a current through
each other’s heads

makes some of you feel better.

while i think it is great that your species
keeps mucking around

with those ferrous mousetraps

i do wish to point out that (as usual)
we ants got there first

and a proper citation would be
in order.

i refer you to the classic 1972
a.m. kopecky reference

in which she demonstrates that

a little static electricity on the brain
goes a long way.

or, as she put it,

having your feelers rubbed by
an acquaintance will

increase warm feelings in the
vicinity of the trunk chakra

(if you know what i mean)
