New Collider May Appear in Russia

LHC’s proton beams are still waiting to collide, but scientific community already talks about building new generation of particle accelerators.

Large linear collider of electrons and positrons will be much more powerful than LHC, and its structure is much simpler. New collider won’t have expensive magnets for deflecting particles, moving at relativistic velocity; it will consist of two long linear accelerators, where electron and positron beams collide.
