Our Biological Receptors

Understanding how our biological receptors function draws upon many areas of science. However, it is surprising that relatively simple physical systems can mimic the complex non-linear behaviors of these biological systems (see – http://arxiv.org/abs/physics/0303055 and http://www.bio-balance.com/Anemone.pdf). Even our psychological perceptions can be described by a relatively simple physical law (see – http://www.bio-balance.com/Weber’s_Law.pdf), which suggests that a true understanding of our perceptions may be within reach.

This may ultimately produce a scientific breakthrough that would revolutionize the way we understand ourselves and the world around us. This may also cause us to realize that our perceptions can often be distorted by even simple physical sensations.
