Spraying Materials, anyone please guide

Hi all,

Am new here. Anyways, I am trying to spray graphite onto Titanium specimen for later Laser Shocking. The tricky part is I wanted to induce charges-negative on the specimen, positive on the can or vice versa. The can is and aerosol can with graphite in vapour form but when I spray it, the graphite is very irregular.

Am trying to keep it simple and use minimal equipment. Any ideas on this?

Thanks!
