Accessing specific Earth science information on the Internet is a pains-taking effort as most search engines return thousands of links for a single keyword and most of it is irrelavant.
To help fellow scientists I thought fit to write a book providing URL’s and hyperlinks to databases and other resources pertaining to earth sciences.
Title of the book: Online Databases and Other Internet Resources for Earth Science
Date of Publication: August 2007
Publisher: Chandos Publishing (Oxford) Limited
ISBN 1843342383/ 9781843342380
The book provides about 1000 URL’s and hyperlinks of online databases, their hosts and what they contain. The book is organised subject wise with an exhaustive index for easy access

ScienceBlog.com has no paywalls, no sponsored content, and no agenda beyond getting the science right. Every story here is written to inform, not to impress an advertiser or push a point of view.
Good science journalism takes time — reading the papers, checking the claims, finding researchers who can put findings in context. We do that work because we think it matters.
