Animal Sites for Helpful Science Fun

I have been having fun helping a circle companion collect a list of animal websites for kids. I was looking for pages with pictures and without popups, or too high a percentage of distracting, flashing ads.

I found link lists of animal websites, but none so far without more than one broken link, and one or more sites that were only domain names up for sale, parked with ads on them in the meanwhile. This is turning into an ongoing project that is easier on my addled brain and boggled mind than all the philosophizing I was doing.

So, I am sure I shall return with more, soon.

Quick Note Before You Read On.

ScienceBlog.com has no paywalls, no sponsored content, and no agenda beyond getting the science right. Every story here is written to inform, not to impress an advertiser or push a point of view.

Good science journalism takes time — reading the papers, checking the claims, finding researchers who can put findings in context. We do that work because we think it matters.
