Global Warming

The news and everyone around are talking about Global Warming. They are telling us that it is coming faster than we think and that we need to do something about it now. I myself wasn’t to interested on this topic until i heard of the effect that it has on the earth but also the people.
Global warming is the result in the increase in surface temperature and decrease in snow coverage and ice coverage resulting in the rise in sea level, percipitation, cloud cover, and extreme temperatures. The sea level may rise from 3.5″ to 35″ and the sea level may continue to rise after the climate is stabilized. The temperature may increase between 2.5 to 10 degrees F(greenfacts).
The main gas that is effected is Co2. Global Warming is natural but man has increased the percentage a lot over the last 50 years. This my not seem like that big of a deal but now that you know the efects that it will have on the earth here are the effects that it will have on the people.
The geografic range for infections diseases including Malaria and Dengue and these diseases will spread to 40% to 50% of the whole worlds population. The floods would increase the risk for diarrheal and repiratory diseases. Also in Develping counties hunger and malnutrition would accure(greenfact).
With these fact that you read up above i hope that it willl make you take action to help preventng this. I hope that you learned something new about this topic or maybe even changed your mind on how you feel about the topic.

Quick Note Before You Read On.

ScienceBlog.com has no paywalls, no sponsored content, and no agenda beyond getting the science right. Every story here is written to inform, not to impress an advertiser or push a point of view.

Good science journalism takes time — reading the papers, checking the claims, finding researchers who can put findings in context. We do that work because we think it matters.
