Science Book News

The Fall 2010 newsletter of my Science Shelf Book Review Archive is now online. And my newest book for young readers, Seven Wonders of Space Technology has rolled off the presses.

The newsletter has more than the usual number of links to newly published science books on a wide variety of topics. I haven’t read them all, but I have seen them and would consider giving any of them a try.

As for my book, it has a 2011 copyright and may not yet be available through normal channels (Lerner Publishing, Amazon.com, etc.), but if you would like me to sign one for your favorite middle-grade space nut, I have a few copies that I am able to sell directly. Send me e-mail through the link at my “Dr. Fred’s Place” website if you are interested in being one of the first to own that book.

Happy science reading!

Quick Note Before You Read On.

ScienceBlog.com has no paywalls, no sponsored content, and no agenda beyond getting the science right. Every story here is written to inform, not to impress an advertiser or push a point of view.

Good science journalism takes time — reading the papers, checking the claims, finding researchers who can put findings in context. We do that work because we think it matters.
